2006-07-29 [Evilmonk]: Does that make any sense? Its a ton of work for a failing readership. Am I being too selfish, you think?

2006-07-29 [Perplexity]: Well, I think it was a good experience in the end - and if we can do HH#1 in 3 days, then we can accomplish something better in the future. Happy will always be a favorite of mine, but I think we should shoot for something with more mass appeal I guess.

2006-07-29 [Rook]: If we get more readers will you continue? maybe Happy just wasn't advertised enough.

2006-07-29 [Calico Tiger]: Well, something you also need to remember is that Issue #0 was out for a while and it got all of that attention over time :) It's completely your decision, and none of us can make you change your mind. It's not fair of us and we have no right. However, I'd recommend giving it another month or two and see what you think then.

2006-07-29 [Yncke]: Making a comic takes a huge effort, and I appreciate that, but for what it's worth, I enjoyed both issues a lot. *goes back to lurker mode*

2006-07-30 [iippo]: Also, comic#0 came out, then this page was created as the "main page". #0 has 26 watchers, this page has 28. All new comics, like #1 are linked to from here. I think people did read #1 just didn't put the page on watch like they did with #0, because they know they'll be notified of new comics through this page. Not everyone is wiki obsessed like me and has to watch every wiki in existence... O:P

2006-07-31 [Rook]: That's what I did ._. I could put it on watch of it makes you feel better lol

2006-07-31 [Charybdis]: Same here >>

2006-08-05 [Evilmonk]: OK, Happy will carry on. I recently talked with Tina about it, and I came to the realiziation that I was turning Happy into something the audience enjoys, when it was just supposed to be a fun little project just for me & T. Oftentimes I can be fanatical, somebody who re-doubles the efforts while losing sight of their goal. We are a little under the gun as far as deadlines go. August is half over and we haven't even scripted Issue #2 yet, as we REALLY were just going to drop it. I'm confident that we can do it though, and sometimes pressure helps. Thats what Happy is, a tool for me to work in a deadline. So we are going to do the best we can to have it ready on schedule August 1st. All fight, no surrender. Thanks guys!

2006-08-05 [Lady Evangeline]: i'm soooooooooooooo excited!

2006-08-05 [Calico Tiger]: *happy dances and quits humping Happy's leg* I imagine it's a great stress reliever with being able to mock all the people that annoy ya, too! :D

2006-08-05 [iippo]: Sides, no one will kill you (too much) if you miss the deadlines. Don't take too much pressure over it, we want you guys to enjoy it too :3

2006-08-05 [Evilmonk]: Right. I like HH doing as he sees fit. I want that pressure. I started this as an experiment to see if I could stick to deadlines. If you wanna work in the biz you gotta test yourself. But if it doesn't make Sept., then that will have to be looked at as not failure but a lesson to work on it.

2006-08-05 [Perplexity]: You can always blame it on the person doing your colors =9

2006-08-05 [Calico Tiger]: Or you can blame it on Lopan getting distracted by green-eyed women >:)

2006-08-06 [Rook]: *dances* w00t! *streaks in celebration*

2006-08-06 [Yuriona]: YAY!! And you'd better not turn Happy into a crowd pleaser! We like him the way he is! *shakes fist* HH is NOT a conformist! :P

2006-08-10 [Happy Hero]: <poll:71821>
*lobs random monkey in room then runs away*

2006-08-10 [toycar]: Really, it depends what items you plan to sell. See...If you’re selling finger puppets, with miniature accessories, then definitely yes. >.>

2006-08-17 [Paul Doyle]: Happy Hero, meet Happy Donkey . . . http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/38144864/

2006-08-17 [Perplexity]: Sweet! lol

2006-08-23 [NOOOPE]: GO HAPPY GO!!! Holy crap.... I love this a little too much for words...

2006-08-23 [Perplexity]: Happy accepts compliments in the form of human sacrifice.

2006-08-24 [Lady Evangeline]: this is some pretty funny shit. it's like going out and bying an emo for dumbies book, but it doesn't cost anything. So You Wanna Make an Emo House? thought yall might enjoy it.....or something like that.

2006-08-24 [kay-chan]: Hahaha! [NOOOPE]-you're being pimped! XD

2006-08-24 [NOOOPE]: Holy crap! How wonderful! And right after I commented!! This was obviously fated to happen.

2006-08-25 [iippo]: Fate... Or kay-chan follows you everywhere, just waiting for you to take one mis-step so she can lure you to her secret lair... *cue Silence of the Lambs quote about rubbing lotion*

2006-08-25 [kay-chan]: It puts the lotion on its skin... "IS IT SAFE??"

2006-08-25 [NOOOPE]: Holy crap! It's times like these that make me happy my boyfriend is a ninja. YEAH, that's right. A NINJA. Better watch your step.

2006-08-25 [TheRogue]: uh.. yeah. 9.9 I'm a ninja too. of the Beverly Hills Variety. XD Ninja...haha.. whatever.. I mean come on.. a Ni..HURGGKKK!*choke* *sput* X.X

2006-08-25 [Yuriona]: Funny... I could've sworn you were more of the samurai variety. *pinches Rogue*

2006-08-25 [TheRogue]: eh.. yeah.. that's it. :D *pinches back*

2006-08-25 [Yuriona]: Owie! *grins*

2006-08-25 [kay-chan]: What? I just wanted you to have hydrated skin, M. :( Is it too much for me to worry about whether or not my friends have beautiful skin? *goes off to cry*

2006-08-25 [I'm her Georgia *Peach!*]: o.o; *has no idea what's going on...*

2006-08-26 [NOOOPE]: I like the chipping scaley look, thank you very much. Makes me look like a star trek alien.

2006-08-26 [kay-chan]: Okay, fine... It DOESN'T put the lotion on its skin. Is it happy? (and safe. XD yay for clerks references!)

2006-08-27 [Evilmonk]: Hey everyone. HH #2 is still set to come out on time. I would look for it Sept 6th or 7th. I have this EVE thing keeping me busy right now, but everything looks to be on time.

2006-08-27 [irulan]: Yay! :D

2006-08-28 [NibblerLove]: coolios

2006-09-04 [BinaryPhoenix]: I cannot wait! ^_^

2006-09-04 [Evilmonk]: Greetings everyone. Unfortunately I have some news. HH Sept is going to be delayed until October. I have a job now and it is biting into my working time on the book. I am also planning a big re-design. The characters will be bigger and better, it is hoped. Sorry to disappoint everyone, especially since we were so close to finishing #2. I'll give you this though it's a mini-series that kicks off with the ...well I won't give you all that info. =) I know it sucks but I am thrilled with the new look and feel its right to do it right in my mind. Oh it has a Halloween "scary" theme to it. Thought it was violent enough on its own? Just you wait...(no smart comments either) ;)

2006-09-04 [Yuriona]: OH I guess we can forgive you the delay. LOL!

2006-09-07 [Calico Tiger]: No worries, take your time :D It's your fun project and we just are along for the ride!

2006-09-07 [Galain]: Precisely, Calico. Precisely.

2006-09-08 [Happy Hero]: No, hurry up goddamn it! I want to unleash some HAPPINESS al-freakin-ready!
*whines like a girly-emo-boy* Don't you CARE about me anymore, Evilmonk?!?!? PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

2006-09-08 [Yuriona]: :O Happy is EMO?? *RUNS FOR HER LIFE BACK TO THE DUNGEON* lmao!

2006-09-08 [TheRogue]: *ka-BLINKety*

2006-09-08 [Evilmonk]: Damn...he caught me...

2006-09-08 [TheRogue]: *sniff* *sniff*.. yup.. hehe

2006-09-08 [Evilmonk]: I'll take care of it.

2006-09-09 [Xeroh Kanoe]:

?

2006-09-09 [Perplexity]: :O

2006-09-11 [Evilmonk]: If the first incarnation of HH, was a band think about "The Beatles"...the new happy is more "Rage against the Machine. I would batten down the hatches, you haven't seen anything yet. I'll post a sketch of the re-design when I get it done.

2006-09-11 [Perplexity]: *does Happy dance*
(not to be confused with "Safety Dance")

2006-09-20 [tenshi-ryuu]: This page = Watched. Awsome comic, man.

2006-09-20 [Perplexity]: It's only gonna get better ;) thanks for putting us on watch!

2006-09-20 [Nite_Owl]: Hahaha, reading this comic just completely made my day XD Great stuff, can't wait to see more of it!

2006-09-29 [Stratakus]: September is almost over! We want our new Happy!

2006-09-30 [taintedvalor]: dude this happy hero is the shit. im lovin it.

2006-10-20 [DEMONCOW]: woo I like, I like alot ^-^ congrats

2006-10-20 [Perplexity]: *single tear* Thank you! =}

2006-10-21 [I'm her Georgia *Peach!*]: *yoinks* hahah! now I have my tear! *runs away with the tear in a glass jar, cackling madly*

2006-10-21 [Perplexity]: O.o Be this some sort of voodoo?

2006-10-22 [I'm her Georgia *Peach!*]: xD I have no idea

2006-10-22 [DEMONCOW]: o.o

2006-10-22 [Evilmonk]: Happy Hero: Issue #2 has been updated. Only gonna be B&W on pages until Plexie gets caught up on her contest shiznit. Shes in quite a few, and lets face it, the girl wants to draw in her own right not just color my shit. So go easy on her. =)

2006-10-22 [Perplexity]: *eating crayons in corner* Coloring ith fun! =B

2006-10-22 [Calico Tiger]: Crayons taste like purple!

2006-10-22 [Evilmonk]: ...and purple tastes like Jesus' tears...

2006-10-23 [Galain]: ....and Jesus' tears taste like wine, if he wants....mmm...wine...

2006-10-23 [iippo]: And wine tastes like cough medicine.

2006-10-23 [Perplexity]: Are you drinking that wine that comes in a box or something?

2006-10-23 [iippo]: Wine that comes in a box? o.O *imagines wine sitting in a box, trying to ring the doorbell but unable since it is in a box*

2006-10-23 [Yuriona]: I remember that stuff! Hey, it got ya drunk didn't it?

2006-10-23 [Perplexity]: Heck, when I was underage, I would ask some dirty old man to buy me a bottle of MD 20/20 *shudder* gawd, talk about NASTY!

2006-10-23 [Yuriona]: O_o All I ever had to do was get into my parents' stash of either beer or whiskey.

2006-10-23 [Evilmonk]: The ol' MD. Why do they even bother flavoring that stuff. It all tastes like nails.

2006-10-23 [Yuriona]: I grew up on Molson Golden and Alberta Premium Rye. What the heck is MD??

2006-10-23 [Perplexity]: Mogen Davis 20/20 - a really nasty cheap "wine"
<img:http://www.thedrinksgroup.co.uk/mdspread.jpg>

2006-10-23 [Yuriona]: O_O Never seen that before... looks horrific though. I think I should stock the bar fridge in the dungeon with it. }:)

2006-10-23 [I'm her Georgia *Peach!*]: dude, who drinks "Mango-Lime" wine?

2006-10-24 [Galain]: Yeah, I was just thinking that. Thankfully, I think Australia is free from that horrible stuff. what's the '20/20' stand for?

2006-10-24 [Yuriona]: It lets you see so clear its like having 20/20 vision? :3

2006-10-24 [Galain]: Ah, I'm certain that's it :-P So clear that you see the logic in drinking Mango-Lime wine, I trust?

2006-10-24 [Yuriona]: Yeah and you know that shit's gotta taste better the more you drink. Kind of like Guiness beer... ;)

2006-10-24 [Galain]: Hahaha, I *like* guiness! :-D

2006-10-24 [Yuriona]: I do too.. as long as I've already had lots of something else first. ;) I made the mistake of trying something called 'Toby' once and it was like drinking tar. Blah... my palate is far too delicate for stouts.

2006-10-24 [Galain]: I'm fond of my stouts, at times. I'll have to track down this 'Toby'. My beer of choice would still be Abbot's at the moment.

2006-10-24 [tenshi-ryuu]: I'm rather fond of Crown Royal and JD... never really tried any of the above

2006-10-24 [toycar]: Crena drinks Heineken, perhaps too much. But I’ve become fairly addicted to extra dry platinums... And I’ve never heard of any of the above drinks bar guiness, which is horrible >.>

2006-10-24 [toycar]: And that toby beer makes me think of my friend toby...so i shant go there... o.o

2006-10-24 [Galain]: I'm not too fond of Heineken. Platinum's not too bad. We get very few US beers over here (because most of them suck).

2006-10-24 [tenshi-ryuu]: I agree... North american beers do suck. (Note: I said North American because Canadian beer sucks just as bad)... And Corona, a mexican import, isn't even really Mexican beer... It's brewed specifically to export and doesn't taste even remotel close to any real Mexican beers.

2006-10-24 [Galain]: So I hear, yeah. Still a Corona can cut it comparative to Budweiser (American, not the real stuff) and Coors. To use the old adage - it's like having sex in a canoe.

2006-10-24 [toycar]: Beer to me is beer :P... unless it tastes shit, and then i simply drink it anyhow :D

2006-10-24 [Yuriona]: Meh... all beer tastes like shit to me unless I'm either really drunk or really thirsty. *shrugs* I've become rather fond of sake lately even though I can only get one kind at the liquor store.

2006-10-24 [Yuriona]: Though I do say I find it interesting that someone underage like yourself [tenshi-ryuu] has such a definitive opinion of North American beers. :P

2006-10-24 [Perplexity]: Alcohol in general tastes like shit to me now. I think I am just over the whole drinking thing altogether. =P Too many hangovers fresh in my mind. *shudder* Oh the pain... the pain.

2006-10-24 [Yuriona]: Heh... I have a high tolerance to alcohol and have only suffered nasty hangovers a few times. Still, I don't drink myself into a stupor very often either. ;)

2006-10-24 [Evilmonk]: I agree with Tina. I'm sure it still tastes good, but after a year without, you get a different look at it. It just seems like such a sad excuse to have a good time. Just me I'm sure, but thats how I am starting to see it now anyways.

2006-10-24 [tenshi-ryuu]: I may be underage here... but in Quebec I'm legal (only need to be 18)

2006-10-24 [Yuriona]: Ah... Quebec. That explains a lot... :P

2006-10-24 [iippo]: 18s the limit around where I am too. And I drink very rarely - too expensive (I have an expensive taste? :P) and I can tap into that jolly tipsy mood without any chemical substances anyway :P Although my big two-one is approaching so might consider a thingie for that :P

2006-10-25 [Galain]: [Yuriona], I'd not be discounting underage opinions. By 16, I'd tried around 100 beers. And not in a binge-drinking sense, simply as a manner of appreciation.

2006-10-25 [Yuriona]: LOL! Oh don't worry [Galain], I come from an area of Canada where alcoholism is quite prominent and most youths are established drinkers by or even before the age of 16. Of course, they're more interested in what gives the best bang for your buck as it were rather than developing discerning palates. So I am skeptical of any of a young age who claim to be a conniseur of such things as alcohol especially because they are young. :P Frankly, anyone who claims to be a seasoned appreciator of alcohol at such a young age should have their ass kicked in my opinion but that is merely my opinion having grown up seeing the consequences of such an undertaking first hand.

2006-10-25 [Galain]: Well, that sounds almost like a challenge ;-D

Shall we start with beer, wines, or spirtits/liqueurs, hmm?

2006-10-25 [Yuriona]: Oh your expertise would be wasted on me. I know very little about such things. :P

2006-10-25 [Evilmonk]: I don't think she is saying you aren't an appreciator, I think what we have is just different points of view. Being an recovering alcoholic myself I notice a trend growing here in the states, of kids getting younger and younger thinking that same thing. Almost like pretending to be wine conniseurs but with hard drinks and thick lagers so they can keep their cool ties with their pals. Maybe things DO run a bit differently in the 'Big C', I honestly wouldn't know. But since we deal with it as a law here (21 to imbibe) its unusual to hear about 16 year old being mature when it comes to alcohol, without them trying to sound like its a cool thing to do. My thought has always been that there will be plenty of time to drink when I turn 21. After being arrested for an alcohol induced crime, my outlook is a little different on such things. To each their own I say but I know for me that I can't handle it. I don't feel as though its something to be ashamed of. Drinking doesn't show maturity in anyway. Hell a baby can drink...its a basic human process. If everyone is drinking because they sincerely enjoy the taste and a good buzz, fine. I start to have a problem with the 'drinking to get drunk' phase. Just because I don't want ANYONE to go through what I did. Big drinkers become big alcoholics...its just a fact,...one the boozer doesn't know until its too late.

2006-10-25 [toycar]: See me, I only drink socially, I guess? I don’t generally drink for the taste and I can still understand where you’re coming from, essentially. I used to be a big drinker on the basis that I intended to pass out, commonly from exhaustion due to so much induced vomiting. I knew then it was ridiculous and dangerous...not to mention pathetic... and I still know that now...
I don’t know what happened. I just changed, I guess I grew up to a degree, realised the world isn’t there to screw you over, sure I still had problems, but everyone has their freaking demons. I don’t ever want to be that person ever again, I even find it strange that...that was even me, but then another part of me knows it isn’t strange at all. I avoid spirits pretty much now, because I’ve shredded my stomach lining, which I aided in doing by taking perhaps too many painkillers back in the day. It’s just made a lot of shit far more complicated presently. So, I avoid drinking plenteously entirely, I just think its pointless. /end life story >.>

2006-10-25 [Yuriona]: Yes exactly Monk! I'd hug ya but that could get me beaten... *looks around for Plexie*

2006-10-25 [Evilmonk]: Plex is ok with hugs and smooches...but package grabage is out of the question. LOL

2006-10-25 [Yuriona]: Gotcha... no groping the package. ;) Can I grope Plex then?

2006-10-25 [Evilmonk]: I don't have a particular hang-up on that...probably since I know you're going to do it no matter what I say. lol =D

2006-10-25 [Yuriona]: Well as long as you keep that in mind. ;) Besides, Plexie never complained before... LOL!

2006-10-25 [toycar]: O.O
perhaps this is not the best time to be online?

2006-10-25 [Evilmonk]: If ya can't stand the gropage, get out o the kitchen...or whatever room people are having an orgy in.

2006-10-25 [iippo]: That reminded me of this little movie-clip called "hot ass" where this guy picks up her girlfriend and sets her down on the cooker to kiss her, but the hot plate was on so she burns her ass and kind of shoots across the room like Wyley Coyote...

2006-10-25 [TheRogue]: hahaa... saw that one.. ^_^

2006-10-25 [Perplexity]: Who's groping who's what and where huh? >.>

2006-10-25 [Yuriona]: PLEX!! *glomps* Don't worry... I didn't touch Evil. I waited for you! *gropes*

2006-10-25 [TheRogue]: *eats popcorn* I knew I liked this wiki.. LOL

2006-10-26 [Galain]: Hahaha, I missed that one! :-D

Yeah, I'm with [TheRogue] on this one....*finds couch*

(Oh, and I apologise if I gave off a confrontational air - I'm as sick of the punks guzzling beer to prove their manhood as the rest of us - I just thought a 'beer-off' could have been a chuckle! ;-D )

2006-10-26 [Perplexity]: *waves white flag from underneath Yuri* I submit!

2006-10-26 [Yuriona]: WHEEE!! Just the way I like it! XD Does this mean I get to use the 'big carrot'?? }:)

2006-10-26 [Perplexity]: Noooooooooooooooooooooo *cowers* I hear Crimson King was asking for you though...

2006-10-26 [Yuriona]: Awww... I'd be gentle, well, mostly. Well I guess we could just stick to the usual warm oil body massage though I did remember to put new batteries in that vibe you like so much. ^_^ I bet he has. That guy just never gets enough.

2006-10-27 [Galain]: Rogue, want a coldie? *tosses beer* (decent beer).

2006-10-27 [Perplexity]: You know, Evil - you haven't posted a link to HH#2 in here yet. *kick*

2006-10-27 [Yuriona]: Hey that looks like fun! Can I kick him too?? *puppy dog eyes*

2006-10-28 [Evilmonk]: Oh!...are you two and your "VIBE" finished!?...can we get back to the comic?...would that be ok? That would be nice.

...its not COLORED either!, so watch who yer kickin ya crackpipes. =)

2006-10-28 [Perplexity]: He's right! I am a slacker, tooooooo *sob*

2006-10-28 [Perplexity]: YAY FOR NUMBER TWO! =D

2006-10-29 [Yuriona]: *kicks ya both for fun* Ok my turn!! (_|_)

2006-10-29 [Perplexity]: *kick* *smack* *slap* *pinch*

2006-10-29 [I'm her Georgia *Peach!*]: *hides* ._.

2006-10-29 [Yuriona]: *grins* Is that all ya got??

2006-11-03 [Cookieholic]: awful, but bloody brilliant =D

2006-11-03 [Evilmonk]: Isn't it funny how those two go together?

2007-03-20 [Evilmonk]: Hello again everybody!!! After a little hiatus, Happy is returning in a new issue...#2. It actually has a decent story and everything. If you can, please check it out and for gods sake man tell a pal!!! It's the least you can do in the war on Goth...and Emo. Thanks!!!

2007-03-21 [Galain]: Great to see Happy's back, Evilmonk. Loving it.

2007-06-21 [Evilmonk]: Sharpen those pencils everyone, a HH Fanart contest of sorts, is in the works!...more details as I wake up.

2007-06-21 [BinaryPhoenix]: WooHoo!!! *starts to sharpen pencils* ^__^

2007-06-21 [Calico Tiger]: ooo Ooo! I have fanart!

o_O

:)

:D

That count? *ducks*

2007-06-21 [Yuriona]: Awww man!! You mean I have to do another one in order to enter?? LOL!

2007-06-21 [Evilmonk]: Q1: No.
Q2: You know you do Yuri, as your art was done BEFORE the announcement of any contest. Using a previouly made pic will be forbidden in the future rules. Now GET BACK TO WORK!!!

2007-06-21 [TheRogue]: yeah that takes care of my fan art I already did too.. >.<

2007-06-21 [Yuriona]: DAMMIT! *pulls on chain tying her to the drawing board* I'm not supposed to be the one wearing this... *grumbles*

2007-06-21 [Evilmonk]: The "evil" part of the moniker sticks for a reason people. =D

2007-06-21 [Yuriona]: But you wore this last time! Look! There's still leg hair in the cuff! *points* At least... I think that's leg hair. O_o

2007-06-22 [Calico Tiger]: *moons monk* Curse you, Lopan!

2007-06-22 [Evilmonk]: *laughs maniacally, fists clenched*

2007-07-10 [tenshi-ryuu]: OMG! A NEW HAPPY HERO! *watches emos die* (grin).
You rule!

2007-07-11 [noskari]: cuffuzled...yet happy! it made me happy.

2007-07-13 [Nite_Owl]: Hehehehe....it says sammiches XD Great job, mate!

2007-08-04 [I'm her Georgia *Peach!*]: I don't wage a war on Goth. Goth is cool. But I do wage a war on Emo. *nod* And Foth. yup. I do wage a war on Foth.

2007-08-04 [Calico Tiger]: What's foth? :O funny goth?

2007-08-04 [I'm her Georgia *Peach!*]: no. XD Fake goth. Like, the not-cool kind. ;.;
There's two kinds, really. The cool and the STUPID. XP

2007-08-04 [Evilmonk]: Are you sure there isn't a cool kind of emo and the others are just "Femo"? Ya know because the "F" totally stands for "fake"...TOtally. LOL
I dunno about the rest of you, but I feel safe growing old with this being our youths logic. LOL

2007-08-04 [Yuriona]: :O There is no such thing as a cool emo!

2007-08-04 [Evilmonk]: Sure there are. They'll just never seem cool to us, is all.

2007-08-04 [Evilmonk]: Cool, uncool, goth, foth, emo, schmemo, nice, stupid. All those things are means of being. Goth, Emo, headbangers, preppies, cheerleaders, jocks, nerds...are PEOPLE, and PEOPLE can be stupid. HH is my dialog on the stupid choices I as a person think other people can make. So I write a stupid little comic about it, just as someone who thinks I am not cool will someday say it about me. I just feel that Peaches thoughts are dumb. Its bad enough that we classify folks already, but now we have to have sub-classes of that class? Its the same as saying "Well, there are Jews, and then there are Stews, because the "S" stands for stupid". Thats just moronic. There are human beings, and some just make bad decisions. Like we all do. This comic is sort of meant for pointing out that stupidity for all these kids when they grow out of it, like we all did. I have never seen an old goth, or emo or headbanger and whatnot, because they are PHASES. If I EVER saw a 35-40 year old goth...now THERE, is a stupid PERSON. LOL

2007-08-04 [Mordigen]: heeeeeeeyyy, wait a minute -- Ozzy's an olde goth...and i love ozzy :D

2007-08-04 [Mordigen]: and just an fyi, there are a shitload of 35-40 y/o goth/punks/wahthaveyous here in atlanta, so your city just must suck of stupid people that ruin it for everyone else

2007-08-04 [Evilmonk]: ...well...somebody HAS to... LOL

2007-08-04 [Mordigen]: :( poor monky, stuck with all the idiots LOL

2007-08-04 [Evilmonk]: If I ever wanted a top 40 list of reasons NOT to move to Atlanta, that would be in the top 5. lol

2007-08-04 [Calico Tiger]: I agree :D The labels drive me nuts. I listen to all kinds of music. And yes, that includes "goth" and "emo" music. Although, to be honest, I can't say that it's today's youth that are being tards. It's always been there :) Afterall, remember the Vanilla Ice thing back when we were younger. Granted, there wasn't a label for "frap", but it was still considered poseur rap or whatnot. That's just an example, mind ya! I think we're just forgetting that kids are tards in general. Not just specifically one generation's kids XD Not that I'm bashing the comic! I love the comic. I hope you know that already! And I love reading yours and Happy's views on it all! So keep it up!!

2007-08-04 [Perplexity]: I'll help him keep it up... *sly grin* oh, yeah, and I will encourage him to continue putting out... the uh, comic. I can't manage saying something without it being suggestive! =9 *tee hee*

2007-08-05 [I'm her Georgia *Peach!*]: but, but... ;.; I was fighting against the thing that said... I forget what it said. But something similar to 'death to all goths and emos'. Mah. I have gothic friends that are cool. Though most of my friends are just nerds. XD Myself included. But hey, my interests are across the board. I can get along with.. nearly anybody, though it's so much more fun to get people riled up. I love watching people freak out at something I said/did. XDDD

2007-08-05 [Perplexity]: I think pretty much we will ("we" being us old farts, like over 25 years old) make fun of anyone that is young and dumb - no offense to the young and dumb, I mean, hey, I was young and very dumb... downright freakin' idiotic... back in the day. Some may argue that I am now simply old and dumb and none the wiser than I was at 14. However, I like to imagine that I've come "a long way, baby" since those days of big hair, horrid fashion mishaps, and angst-y days (the music still rocks though =9), and one day all you young and stupid will get to that point, too. Where you look back, somewhat nostalgically, and somewhat embarrassed, at what you were when you were young.  It shapes who you will become, but it no longer defines you like it did back in junior high and high school.

2007-08-05 [Calico Tiger]: Ah, the old days of many cans of Aquanet....

2007-08-05 [I'm her Georgia *Peach!*]: what /is/ aquanet??

...and I know what you mean. XD I have a friend a few years younger than me, and he's just entering the 'stupid teenager' mode. I'm glad I got most of that out a couple years ago. (whew.) (Though I can't say I still don't have a couple stupid teen genes in me. XD)

2007-08-05 [Evilmonk]: mmm-hmmm....right.

2007-08-05 [Yuriona]: :-X

2007-08-05 [Evilmonk]: Saying you're 14 and all grown up is one of those dumb things there kiddo. Take notes kids.

2007-08-05 [I'm her Georgia *Peach!*]: oO; not 14. XDDD I'm like, about to go into college. Give it a year, though.

2007-08-06 [Evilmonk]: uh-huh. right. like....REALLY?...like...TOTALLY?!

...anyways, I think we've wasted about enough time on this...
Shall we move on?

2007-08-06 [Calico Tiger]: Aquanet was like the hairspray to use in the day, hehe. And so many different colored cans of it for various types of it (not that the spray was different colored, just the can)

2007-08-06 [TheRogue]: oh man.. the pink stuff.. woohoo.. a girl lost her hair because someone lit a lighter under her hair like a foot away and she ran across the cafeteria looking like the ghost rider.. i laugh now but man it sucked to watch.. and the smell! girls would cake that crap on and you could actually bounce quarters off their BOOFANTS sp?.. haha

2007-08-06 [Perplexity]: "i laugh now but man it sucked to watch"

I feel the same way about "Ghost Rider."

2007-08-06 [Perplexity]: I had my bangs flare up when someone gave me a light for my cigarette once... went from chin level to eye level REAL quick. Man, that smell lingers all day, too. =P *does Michael Jackson squeal*

2007-08-17 [Evilmonk]: Issue #3 (Night of the Living Depressed) is UNDERWAY!!!!

2007-08-17 [Perplexity]: *jumps on jesus* Hallelujah!

2007-11-30 [TheRogue]: hahaha...

2009-09-10 [Evilmonk]: It speaks so much against my credit that this can be rated so highly as "funny". I think by the rating system of Elftown, it's second, with a score of 30. BTW: is that like, "all-time", or "in all of ET's wiki"?
But notice the artistic? 0!?!?
Informative? I get that. I'm not telling shit to people that they don't already know.
Friendly? I would beg to differ. I'm friendly towards non-emo and goth kids and even they are still welcome. But I can see how the comic itself is not friendly to all.
But a zero on art? Poop!...I mean "fuck"! The simple fact that I have scrawled ANYTHING should warrant a one!
What's up with that? What would I have to do to get a one?
I agree with most folks that it is not that great, that isn't the point. It does contain drawings. It should get a one. Not asking for andrew jacksons, or benjammins here...just a one.
lol

2009-09-12 [Perplexity]: The artistic rating must have changed... it says nine THOUSAND and one now. 0.o That is so fucking arty!

2009-09-12 [Nite_Owl]: Whoa, it's OVER NINE THOUSAND! :O

2009-09-12 [Evilmonk]: well deserved too. Recognize...

2009-09-14 [TheRogue]: LOL.. should have had a bigger number.. HH is my FAVIE!

2009-09-15 [Perplexity]: We are petitioning our congressman to make Happy Hero a mandatory favorite beginning in 2012. It's good for the economy, the environment, and will bring upon an era of world peace. We have no studies to back this up, but we don't really think that's necessary. >.>

2009-09-18 [Evilmonk]: studies, schmuddies.

2009-09-23 [TheRogue]: Besides.. 87% of statistics are made up on the spot..

2009-09-23 [Teufelsweib]: I always say that with 70% and a friend of mine with 2 out of 3 :P

2009-09-24 [Evilmonk]: That's funny...97% of Happy Hero is made up on the spot...did I just make that up? You be the judge....DON'T JUDGE ME!!!

2011-04-16 [Evilmonk]: HEY ALL! Just a short note, that I'll be pulling the comic just as soon as I remember some of the passwords for editing. lol

I'm giving consideration to re-working all the old issues, finishing the one I started, and then continue on with story lines that Tina and I always have talked about but never wrote. But I feel the need to move it to a different venue, maybe to my personal web-site, maybe deviant, maybe something unheard of, fuck, I may not do it at all. LOL Some things never change, some things do. Who knows? Thanks for all the support over the years, and I hope everyone is well enough in their own little piece of the world. Cheers!

2011-04-16 [Yuriona]: Uh... you do know you can request one of yer friendly neighbourhood guard types to reset passwords for ya. ;) Oooo... rework old stuff and go with new stuff? YES PLEASE!!

2011-04-16 [Evilmonk]: A new snag, I have to find the originals first. They're not in our computer ANYWHERE, so once I take em down they're pretty much lost. Maybe I'll just leave em...already this is more trouble than I want LOL. Got all the passwords though!

2011-04-16 [Yuriona]: Ain't that always the way? lol

2014-06-18 [Company Awesome]: This still makes me laugh. So glad I saved this on my sidebar. xD
